  2. To help you understand your past and family history and how it will impact your marriage

  3. To surface and deal with the expectations you and your partner will bring into marriage

  4. To help you navigate the waters of communication, roles, responsibilities, finances, and intimacy

  5. To give you the tools of fighting fairly through conflict resolution skills

  6. To help manage the issues related to blended and extended families
