Welcome to Children's Ministries—Destiny-style! God has given our Children's Ministries team the wonderful opportunity of changing the future of Fort Worth, Texas, and, ultimately, the world by touching young lives today through the power of Christ's love.
 We envision children beginning a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ through our ministry to them. Partnering with families as a nurturing, biblical community, we seek to provide child-relevant and age-appropriate opportunities for children to come to know Christ, (John 1:12) learn to love Him, (Romans 12:1&2) and to be equipped to serve Him (Matt 28: 19&20).
Our Ministry Values are reflected throughout all our children’s ministries as we aim to be ministry-partner driven, relational, child-centered, accountable, and family-oriented.
Our mission is developing children toward their divine destiny! It is our desire to partner with families—as a nurturing, biblical community—to provide child relevant/age-appropriate opportunities for evangelizing, discipling, and equipping children to enjoy God for their entire lives.
Laughter, learning, and love fill the air of Destiny Church as infants to 6th graders discover what it means to be part of God’s family. In Destiny Kids, children are taught creative, age-appropriate curriculum. This means that Bible lessons are both developmentally and spiritually suitable for your child, as well as FUN. We strive to model Christ's love to them, so that someday they will be drawn to know Him also. Our small group leaders or volunteers work diligently to build your child’s spiritual foundation.
Our infant and wee toddler rooms are clean, cheerful environments in which the children learn about God and Jesus through song and play.
Two- and three-year-olds begin learning Bible stories, Scripture verses, praise songs, as well as how to pray corporately with and for others.
Four- and five-year-olds expand their Bible knowledge during large group time that includes relevant Bible teaching, creative drama, and high-energy praise songs.
From first through sixth grade, children continue to deepen their knowledge of the Scriptures and learn to apply the Bible directly to their lives. Creativity abounds in the theme-inspired, interactive curriculum that take the children from the highly spirited LARGE group to a personal touch SMALL group deliberately designed to foster an intimacy and sensitivity to the Holy Spirit.
While adults are enjoying the various Destiny ministries during the week, their children (1 – 12 years) can be a part of Destiny Sitters, our childcare program. Destiny Sitters is available when no other nursery, preschool, or children's programming is scheduled. Bible lessons, crafts, games, and good friends make this an adventure that kids look forward to.
