Iron Man Experience
"A place where men can be and become stronger men-It's not a bible study but an experience!"
What?
This Fall and Spring at Destiny Church we are going to be on "The Quest for Authenic Manhood." At Destiny Church we desire to see me to have a vibrant and relevant walk with Jesus Christ that is the foundation of their impact on their family, church, work, and community. This 24-session study focuses ont eh primary issues that shape a man's life, explores in depth the biblical concept of manhood, and finally provides practical building blocks for any man to use to construct for himself a nobler, more satisfying manhood.
Men's Fraternity is a men's ministry curriculum developed by Robert Lewis, pastor-at-large for Fellowship Bible Church in Little Rock, Arkansas. It began in 1990 in response to a request from the men of his church who wanted more than a Bible study. They felt they needed some practical insight in how to live as biblical men and they needed a safe place each week where they could process these truths with other men. They said, "We want an environment of openness and brotherhood, like we had back at the fraternity in college, only more helpful and spiritually constructive." The Men's Fraternity meeting that began in Little Rock is now attended by nearly 1,400 men weekly and the curriculum that developed out of it is being used by almost 2,000 churches, literally, all over the world. Men's Fraternity is not "an event"; it is "a process" that enables men to experience real life-change together with other men over several weeks.
Who?
ALL men and young men should prioritize this opportunity to receive REAL LIFE training on what it means to be God's man-Iron Man. God's vision for manhood is unique and fulfilling. You do not have to be a Christian or a member of Destiny Church to attend this study, ALL men are welcome to experience "Men's Fraternity."
